do you think 2 storey playhouses are safe?

and if so from what age, do you think it would be suitable to let a little one play in there alone?

We just got one for dd for her 3rd bday. I'm very happy for her to play in their alone but she always wants me in there too!

We have one but the upper level is mainly used for storage. As long as they are confident on stairs without supervision and there are no obvious falling hazards I'd consider them ok. So maybe 3-4.

Dd2's preschool has one; the children are all 3-4. Must admit I shuddered a bit watching her climb the stairs in dressing-up shoes, but I don't think they've had any accidents.

We bought our girls' a playhouse a couple of years ago (they were 6 and 3 at the time) - my 3 year old fell down the steps of a 2 storey one and dh luckily caught her at the bottom.

We bought a nice big single story playhouse instead
