Agh! My ds is systematically destroying my house!

Yep, I knew this day would come. Woke up this morning put ds on floor while I has shower and he started to CRAWL!!!! agh. No warning nothing.

So plan for week is to toddler proof the house but where do I put all my stuff? have chucked loads out already do I just keep going?

Advice please. I have grey hairs appearing by the second!

Thats it now. Nothing will be the same again. You no longer have stuff, just potential remains of stuff. Toddling is worse though - once they get tall enough to wipe their nose on the sofa. Good luck.

Give up, there is no hope. This is why we don't have 'stuff'.

I say as long as it isn't dangerous/too valuable leave it. They will learn surprisingly quickly.

we didn't bother doing too much proofing. moved precious things and left some stuff for her to explore; soon gets boring esp if we didn't react or touch it ourselves. Said very clear No to stuff that is valuable/dangerous but will always be around (laptop/wires/plugs) etc.

Enjoy the crawling and don't worry about your stuff! Its their stuff too now

Stair gates in place. DH has been told to get rid of all his crap. He has alot of crap!

Ds has been lovley for days but today all he does is winge and move agh! I knew it wouldn't last forever.

Only another 4 yrs before he goes to school. Oh dear.
