Anyone doing a Primary PGCE? Is there a text book / any reading material that you would recommend?

I am going to apply to do my Primary PGCE to start in 2009 or 2010. I have got some work experience sorted in a couple of Primary schools but I am wondering if there is any reading that you would recommend to give me a bit of an insight / headstart?

Watch teachers TV much easier than reading and more up to date.
