Just wondered if they were any good....I seem to be at constant logger heads with my soon to be 4 year old. Have a non-sleeping 9 month old which does not help, but I think I need some need techniques in interacting with her as we seem to go round in circles

Yes - it was run through our local church (but wasn't trying to 'give everyone religion'). It was really helpful in-so-far as it helped me and DH think some issues through that we'd been ignoring, plus offered a few new strategies.

I don't think I have ever seen one advertised - was it v expensive? I am thinking you and dh went together?

It was £80 for ten sessions - but there were subsidies available depending on circumstances. We got a £20 discount and I know some people get to do it free. DH and I did go together, but there were plenty of single parents there and also some couples who took turns (one week each) if they had trouble with finding childcare. It was all pretty relaxed really.

Churches are good places to start to look for courses, but community centres sometimes run them too.
