just had his home visit from his teacher and classroom assistant for when he starts school very soon.

They asked him all about the things he enoyed doing and he made it up as he went along

"What's your favourite toy - can you show us"

So he headed off to the book shelf to get a mega jigsaw that hasn't been put together for about 1 1/2yrs - and has only recently been unearthed courtesy of DS3.

"Do you like drawing - what do you like to draw"

DS2 (while watching Cbeebies which was on quietly in the background to keep DS3 occupied)

"crabs and dolphins"

Do you have a favourite book - can you show us that

Went upstairs and pulled a random book off the shelf which I know he hasn't read/been read as I only found it in a box at the weekend and put it on the shelf.

Basically everything they asked him he made up an answer based on what he could see in the room

yes quite an experience for them (although I suspect one of my close friends - who is a classroom assistant for YR1 will set them straight as she knows him very well) LOL.

I kept having to bite my lip to stop myself laughing
