My bucket's too small and DD is obsessed with trying to get the lid off

I have this. Holds not quite two days worth. It sits on the bathroom floor under the sink. There's no room for it to go anywhere else.

Is there anything bigger with a difficult-to-open lid?

Try your local DIY or hardware shop - they might have small dustbins with clip on lids.
