Took ds (2) for a haircut this morning but asked for it too short (totally my fault) and now he's like a skin heada and looks like a right wee hard nut. Feel so bad

It'll be fine -- and at least he's not at school. My daughter was practically bald still at 2 anyway.

You can't feel as bad as I did after (ahem) a slight electric hairclipper accident with DS2, which zipped off a complete bald patch all down the back of his head... Not a style I'd recommend!

i'm in the middle, ds(7) cut a huge lump out right in the middle. he looks like he's had an op or something.

It will grow back, at least you will know for next time.

When my DD was 18 months old, the haridresser cut layers into her hair around her face, not my request and I was not very impressed. Even at 2.2 she still has some residual layers as I want to grow her hair long so have to have them gradually trimmed out. So at least you have a boy!
