Tell me the truth - is the jump from 2 to 3 harder than 1 to 2?

I found the jump from 1 to 2 truly dreadful. DH and I are still undecided about whether to try for a 3rd - any experiences/opinions on the matter? ds1 and 2 are now 3 and 1 BTW.

agree with lovecamping about everychild is different.
I found the jump from 2-3 hard but also fond 1-2 hard. I have had little support with all of them so this is probably why. Also once dc3 came along she was constantly being whipped out of her nap times to take others to school or nursery so she has probably never had the amount of sleep she should have. NO wonder she is grumpy all the time. Like someone else said. If I had dc3 as my first we would never have had any more.

Every child is different though, and dc3 is definately not chilled whereas I would say my second child is.

Again my family now feels complete but never did before. Hope all goes well with you and I am sure it will all fall into place easily, once number 3 arrives.

Hmm,am no nearer to making a decision. It's difficult as I'm now 40 and kind of think it's a bit late to be thinking about a third, but there's a tiny part of me that would like to try. Whenever dh and I try to look at positives and negatives, the negativeds outweigh the positives by about 100 to 1, but yet there's still that nagging little voice... Especially as we have two boys and I'd love a girl. Thanks for all opinions on the subject!
