  • My dd says 'Thank you' about 500 times a day.
- Today she told me I was 'so beautiful'. - She never wees in her pants. - Dh was just complaining that his todger was sore from too much how's-your-father.

All true.

DD says yes and no so well spoken that if you ask her "Who's a posh bird" she replies "Me".

Cracks me up every time.

love it!
DD talks about her boobies, mummy's boobies, and walks around waving mummy's bra and "knicksies"

got another one to add - DS1 (4yrs) knows his lefts from his right and gets it right everytime.

Only discovered this today when I was reading the thread on here about left and right and thought I'd 'check' to see if he had any clue (I thought he didn't). Not sure where he's learned it as I mentioned it at nursery when I dropped him off and they haven't done any work on 'left and right'

pgel dd who is nearly 5 months sleeps through the night and has done from a week old - I have to wake her up in the morning.

The best thing I have ever heard a child say is my nephew to my SIL when she had miscarried after 20 weeks. After she had explained to him that the baby hadn't been very strong he replied whilst hugging her:
" Never mind Mummy, next time we'll build a stronger one with Lego" - my heart still hurts when I remember this. He was only 3 and he is still a sweetie at 10.

My SIL now has a dd who is now 6, dear nephew helps her with ballet lifts and doesn't mind being called "Billy Idiot."

dd (16 months) says around 80 words,
can string 3-4 words together to make mini sentances,
helps hang up washing, load washing machine, do dusting, puts stuff in bin, get stuff i ask for, helps feed cat,
can sing tik-tok, twinkle twinkle and wind the bibbin (obviously not all the words)
,
makes sounds of dog, cat, chicken, bear, cow, donkey, mouse etc when prompted,
gives kisses on demand,
can almost put own clothes on,
oh, so proud!
