get them (about 10 kids) to sit down around a table and eat at a specific time?

or

bring the food out and let them graze whenever they like?

Party will be from 2 to 4, what time do i produce the food?

very small bit of mad playing until they are all picked up (to avoid a headache).

I wouldn't want them all charging about going mental bonkers if I then wanted then to watch an entretainer and eat food.
