I saw some kids wearing one by Muddle Puddles and the mum said it was great but there are so many others around. Is there one brand which is considered the best?

Muddy PUddles are the business. Children can sit down in a stream and not get wet. You can often get them on ebay for much less.

don't buy a size up, they come up massive.

Great, thanks frogs! The muddy puddles site is sold out of nearly all of them and I thought I'd check Ebay later...

They'll get them back in after the summer holidays.

I found cheapie regatta absolutely fine. We also have a Bush baby but it's wide. Paix waterproofs are plastic waterproofs surely?

sleeplessbunny · 11/10/2013 20:50

we've had a Togs and a regatta, both great. The regatta one has extra insulation for warmth too but just as waterproof.
