Has anyone here got pregnant despite being on the pill?

I can't be arsed to name change.

The chances are pretty small aren't they? I have little to back up a niggling feeling, other than going off 2 foods i usually love, and feeling nauseous today.

I was on the jab, then a few days after it needed re-doing i started on the pill. Around this time DH and i had sex.

Have asked DH to pick up a test on his way home just in case.

It's a small chance isn't it?

These babies must just want to be born. DD fought the odds, starting with the pill then miscarrying her twin onto constant bleeding and premature rupture of membranes resulting in a crash section at 27 weeks. Shes still a stubborn but gorgeous little madam. Sometimes they're just meant to be.

Any news?

I have fallen pregnant with a Mirena coil (apparantly, the safest contraceptive there is, including sterlisiation)

missjennipenni - thread hijack... I have the mirena coil fitted... are you pregnant at the moment with the coil still inside? If so have they told you of any risks? >worried emoticon

Yep-she's just turned 4

yup. I did. Thought I was pregnant about 7 months after the birth of ds1, did a test but it was neg. Still felt pregnant though. Did another test and it was positive. Had scan and I was 4 months pregnant, so I had had a false neg before! ds1 was born when ds1 was 15 months old.

ds2 obviously. ds1 being born at 15 months old would have been fucking painful!

I am drinking wine and smiling!

Test was negative. I had very mixed feelings before hand, but when i saw it negative i felt no sadness about it. THANK GOD!

I fell PG on the pill... but I couldn't have been happier about it!

I fell pregnant with my onlie DD (now 6)- Docs still can't explain why!

toothache - only just seen your post! No, DS is 4 months now, and perfectly healthy. The pregnancy was very problematic though, which i blame on the Mirena (placenta problems resulting in a prem birth)
