Have you had a good day out anywhere nearish? This is for a 2yo, a baby, me, SIL and maybe DH/granny.

I like Longleat, bit further away but took dd there for her 2nd birthday, then again later in the year and we'll be going back this year now shes 3 too. I use my tesco clubcard vouchers to pay for the tickets. I also go to Cricket St thomas quite often we all like it there, animals, train, ball pool, bouncy castle etc, but it is only just down the road from me (I'm in South Somerset).Hope that helps, can't think of anywhere else much at the mo. Other than just ball pools, parks or the beach!

My DD and DN are 3 in October and we've done the following:
Avon Valley Country Park is lovely, animals and miniature (ride-on) trains etc
Cardiff Bay - we go there lots on the weekends, there's a proper carousel, usually something free on the stage in the foyer of the Millennium Centre, boat trips round the bay, lots to see etc.
We went to @explore or whatever it's called in Bristol the other week, lots of buttons to press, also Techniquest in Cardiff is great
Victoria Park in Bath is apparently brilliant
We will probably go to the Museum of Welsh Life soon, they have farm animals there etc.

I live in SE Wales, my sister lives in Bath and our kids are the same age, I am watching this with interest!

Thanks for your suggestions, will try them. Really want to take DS out as have been so ill during pg with DD (now 4 months old) that he didn't go anywhere for ages!
