real nappy virgin, just got some cotton bottoms from ebay

6 for under a fiver, which i thought was a bargin - but i know nothing about them. any experience?
i know i need wraps, but what else? dd is 9 mo, but i dont know what she weighs, i brought large, 26lbs + too big?? How many times do they need to be pre washed? (they are new)?? wish me luck!!

Ooh yes a bit large maybe but she'll grow into them - I would wash them about 3 times - don;t bother drying them in between.

Would recommend motherease rikkis to go over them or a pocket nappy like fuzzi bunz to stuff them.

No! Simply fold them lengthway into a pad, place in wrap and hey presto! You may want to buy some paper liners to catch the poo and so it can be flushed away easily.
