I have a full set of Health and Social care books from the open university. Now that the course is over and I have no more interest in it, is it ok to sell them on ebay or could Open Uni ask for them back?

Lots of people sell them on ebay - I've bought a few myself that way! You can see what the course is about and what's expected before you commit. You paid for the books when you paid for your course so they're yours to do what you want with. Also have a look at this website, which seems to specialise in people selling open uni course materials.

Do you get their magazine Sesame? I've seen lots of course resources for sale there.

I've still got all the materials for the courses I've done - some over 10 years ago.
