DS shouts down the stairs...

"mummy... mummy.... my wheel has fallen off"

so i go upstairs to put the wheel back on and say "there you go, all fixed"

DS sighs and says, "thank you mummy. its been just one thing after another today!"

he's not yet 3 and he's turning into an old woman!

Dd1 today:
Mummy can I have a biscuit?
Me: Yes
Dd1: Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy (complete with jumping up and down and clapping hands)

It's not like the child never has biscuits.

saw a bird that kind of looked like a peacock at the zoo the other day:

DS's friend Karl (not his real name): a keekock! a keekock!

DS (nearly 3): No, Karl, it's not keekock, it's Peapock!

DD1 (in pensive mood): I wonder what it's like to fly... I could ask a butterfly, but they can't talk.

DD2 (watching TV): Adverts adverts adverts! All the time it's adverts adverts adverts, and I want telly telly telly!
