Would I be wrong to keep them off school tomorow?

The kids were at school on Monday. Early hours of Tuesday morning I was rushed into hospital so they didn't go to school on Tuesday. The school was closed Wednesday and today due to a strike.

So they're due to go back tomorow but I think its pointless sending them back on a friday. I'm still very ill, supposed to be resting completely so would it really be that bad to keep them off school tomorow and send them back for the last two days before the summer hols Monday and Tuesday?

There is nobody that could take them to school for me.

Oh keep them off. They don't learn anything the last few days of school anyway.

NO.

End of term they aren't going to miss much. More important they are there for the start of the new term.

Hope you feel better soon.

I'm in your area is there anything I can do to help ?

unknownrebelbang · 17/07/2008 20:01

No you wouldn't be wrong in the circumstances.

Hope you're feeling better soon.

No as long as you call the school to let them know - again very little is done at this time of year, except fun and playing with friends. Could you not take a taxi to get them to school and then you could rest for the day while they are away?
