Washing New Nappies - help needed please

Maybe I am being dim here... but the instructions say to wash my new nappies (hemp inserts) three times before use - BUT do I have to dry them in between washes?

also loving my new mommy's touch with mirco inserts in dizzy lime and dizzy pink - we finally got a voucher scheme here we live so it has been lovely getting some pockets - oh the simple pleasures of life

OOooo yeah i have a dizzy in blue, is really reliable but the whole btp is wasted on him now as hes on the opened up fitting...
