Quick question - increase in dirty nappies and weaning

Wasn't sure where to put this. Anyway have been weaning dd for 5 days and her nappies have gone quite solid (lovely!) but she's gone from 2 dirty nappies at the most to 5 in the last 24 hours. Is that ok or should I investigate further?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Sounds ok, takes a while for little tummies to adjust to solids, just keep an eye on it.
Be prepared for a wide variety of colours/textures/etc - and banana leaves alarming black threads, frightened the life out of me

LOL we've already done some carrot spotting

Thanks will keep an eye on it. At least weaning seems to have cut down on the ruined vests! (ok tmi!)
