Trampolines do you think they are safe

My ds does not have one but I am tempted to get one.
However so far I haven,t bothered as I am really worried about safety and stories of children falling off and getting badly injured or worse.
What do others think about them on here.

I would let me DC's have one.
We did trampolining at school and a girl sued after she broke her back on it.
They worry the life out of me, tbh

i think it is too dangerous to have 3 year olds on together

the force of colliding heads is huge

Apparently, they are very good for adults too...helping to tone up and lose weight! I want one too - once I've sorted out my pelvic floor!!!
I've also heard that they are good for children with SN and especially for children with autism as it makes their brain work in a different from usual fashion...something about you never know where you are going to land on the trampoline so your brain has to compensate? so it helps with balance and coordination? something like that anyway.

We have an 8ft one and it was the best thing we've bought. The girls know to limit it to 2 or 3 depending who it is ,or what they're doing, (they sometimes have teaparties on it ). All the children in the street had to ask their parents before coming on it. I don't want to be sued!
