If your 2 yr old DS found a girlfriend (!) would you try to meet her parents?

So they can play together I mean. Or do your toddlers only socialise with the children of your own friends. Would her parents think I was very odd if I contacted them via the nursery?

I don't think they'd find you too odd, just interested in finding friends for your kids to play with turns out my dd2 has two lovely little boys in tow at present, which I found out when picking her up last week and one proudly announced her to his mum as his friend, to which she said to me, he rattles on about her all the time

i had a note in dd2s nursery cubby hole

"hi im ellens mum - would you like to meet up during the holidays?"

ive never met this woman but i know her dd plays wiht my dd at nursery and i didnt find it odd at all

go for it

That's reassuring, thanks. DS doesn't have many children to play with and he really likes this little girl. Apparently they give each other cuddles all the time - awww.

I did this when DS was 3 for a little girl he kept talking about.
