Rhyming words in French

I posted here a while ago about DD wanting to learn French. She is doing really well and adding words on a daily basis. She loves word play and has discovered a few words to rhyme in French- chateau, bateau, rateau, gateau... poisson, croissant etc.
My French is limited so thinking of rhyming words is hard for me! Are there any nice strings of words that I can show her? Something along the lines of 'fat cat mat rat hat bat'.
Many thanks

you could use this site

www.alcor.com.au/french_rhyming_dictionary.asp

type in a french word and it lists any that rhyme with it.

how old is your dd? Jacques Prevert was a French poet and has some nice rhymes which French kids tend to enjoy. The language itself might be quite hard if she doesn't speak French but the rhymes are quite fun.

try "Familale" and "l'oiseau lyre" ((you can probably google them)

May be you could look for Maurice Carême. He is a belgian poet. The language is quite simple and yet eautiful...
But I'm afraid I'm too late now...

You can get quite a good French translation of the Cat in the Hat if that's your bag.

It's called "le chat chapeaute" (final acute "e", of course - can't do accents.)

Incidentally, without meaning to burst anyone's bubble, "poisson" and "croissant" don't rhyme. The sound is different at the end. As she gets further into French this will become more important so you might want to steer her away from this mix up while you still can.

Sorry - pedantry over.
