Childcare students.

Im thinking of asking at the local college if any childcare students would be interested in a placement with us.
I have a 2 year old with SN and a 7 mth old.
Has anyone tried this before and if so how did it work out?

I haven't - round here you have to have 2 children - but a friend of mine had a placement just after she had her 3rd, and it was a real boon for her.

worth asking, worst they can say is no.
For SN experience some may be keen.

I'm doing this. the tutor is my childminders daughter and she is always on the lookout for families with a toddler and baby under 9mths. we're planning to take astudent for two days a week from jan when babs will be 3mths.

I'm just hoping I get a really enthusastic one who I'll be able to make my babysitter too!
