i.e. they don't match!

I have found them BUT I now need your help on sizing - I need them size 6-8 years BUT they're in height and I don't have anyone I can measure!

What do you think:
Girl Small
Suitable for girls height 115-130cm weight 24-28kg
Girl Medium
Suitable for girls height 130-145cm weight 28-33kg

Where did you get them? They sound fab!

My MIL bought dd2 some of these a few years ago. In a supermarket in Finland. Sorry, that's not much help.

I like the sound of those too. Can't help with the sizing I'm afraid, my dd is 3yrs.

Alambil · 11/07/2008 19:51

Ds is a tall 5yr old at 116cm so I'd say the small covers 4-8yrs, medium is 8-11ish.

got the rough ages from here

Alambil · 11/07/2008 19:53

oops meant 6-9 and 9-11/12

My dd buys two pairs and cuts a leg off each. Cheaper and an infinite choice!

desperatehousewifetoo · 11/07/2008 21:13

ooh, seeker, sounds like sewing is involved!

seeker · 11/07/2008 21:24

She doesn't do any sewing - she just cuts the leg off just below th pants bit and wears both of them if you see what I mean. They don't seem to ladder or anything.

Sometimes she turns the cut off legs into arm warmers.

elmoandella · 11/07/2008 21:28

seeker your dd has a great imagination

desperatehousewifetoo · 11/07/2008 21:29

How clever. sounds like she'll be a fashion designer.

Do they stay up or does that not matter?

seeker · 11/07/2008 21:38

No, they stay up fine. I think it's important to have the whole pant bit in the top of each leg. but I'll ask her whether there's anything else you need to do when she gets home from Scouts. She's got some she's worn for ages and they've been washes lots and still going strong.

She's been attacking her clothes with varying degrees of success all her life - and is currently making a ball gown out of bin bags at school!
