I am very pregnant with very sore hips and back etc and it's raining, so I desperately need ideas on what I can do with DD!!

I have playdoh and painting stuff but is there anything else that we can do craft wise??

Get some catalogues/ magazines and cut pictures out. Then stick onto a piece of paper and add drawings, scribbles etc.

Collect old packets, glue together to make a model, then paint.

put sheet on floor

get selection of pots, funnels, spoons etc

then let her pour rice, lentils, dried beans and pasta around

or do sticking with pasta to make pictures

Depends on the mess you dont mind making.

sheet/paper on the floor, paint on her feet and hands and print all over the sheet.

You can also join in, sit on a chair and get her to paint your feet, so you can do it too!

I dont' think I've ever done crafts with dd3 who is almost 2!!

she colours
she threads things
she loves playdough

but never paint or cutting/sticking too labour intensive at that age!

if it ever stops raining, a bucket full of bubbly water and a load of cups and funnels keeps my dd happy for ages, as does a small watering can

ripping and cutting things
printing using paint and stuff, cotton reels, potatoes
junk modelling - doesn't have to look anything like thing its supposed to be.
sticking pictures of animals from magazines,
make a wish list from ripping pics from elc catalog and sticking on big bit of paper

other non craft stuff
make a zoo
hide a toy
take a bath and chuck in some ice cubes, different thigns that sink and float
tea party with real food and water
dressing up
face painting
reading
dancing
make a den out of cushions and table cloth
