my 14 week old has just had a grey, clay like poop. I know babies poop does some strange colors and textures. but has anybody else had this? Should I be worried?

Not sure in babies but I had this when my gallbladder was blocked with gallstones. I would get it checked out - ring health visitor? Hope everything's ok.

We dont have anything like where we live, so think we will just take him to the hospital tomorrow. I think with babies its better to be safe then sorry aye!

The colour of poo comes from the bile from the gall bladder which in turn is produced by the liver.

So grey poo may mean something not quite right. See your GP to discuss it - your HV is unlikely to say anything more than see your GP.

No family doc service? In that case off to hosp doc if that's what you normally do!

yeah, we live in China and in our city atleast they dont have GP services, everybody just goes to the hospital when they are sick. I miss our family doc, she was really good and it was so much easier to go to the same doc all the time - it helped that it was all in english too not chinese
