Does your baby like to poo when nappy free?

Hi, just wondering if this happens to anyone else or is this weeeeird? My 8 month DS seems to have developed a habit of mainly pooing when he is nappy free, for the past 3 nights he has pushed out a huge poop onto the changing mat while waiting for his bath, YUK! He also seems to enjoy pooing in the bath, often with me in it YUKYUKYUK

So I have now developed the disturbing habit of staring at his bum for signs of approaching poo, ready to catch it nappy in hand rather than having to scoop it up, nice And I can now only have a bath with him after a poo otherwise I have to play Russian poo roulette!

  • well I suppose it is a plus for when it comes to potty training - just remove nappy and replace with potty

Sorry never had this with DD, she pees as soon as nappy off but not poop. YUK for you but as BBM said potty training will be a breeze

start putting him on potty now, then poo can go in toilet where it belongs! even if it is only at that time of day you use potty, it will be a great start.
