DD is due to start playgroup in Sept when shes 2.6 and we went this morning for visit and it did not go well..
DD just doesn't understand sharing or that other children want to play with her - everytime they tried to play with her she just screamed and then spent the rest of the time crying over everything else. We were meant to spend the whole morning there but we left early because it was too much - I ended up in tears as well .
I'm gutted - she seemed so ready to start preschool and now i have my doubts. We do toddler groups all the time and whereas she behaves like this sometimes - never this bad. She was really excited to be going telling everyone she was going to school etc.
Please tell me this is just a phase or tell me what I can do to help her move on from it..
