Toddler slings

Hi,

I’m a foster carer and have an 18month old who needs to be carried all the time, have the little life for outside walks but child doesn’t love it. Can anyone please recommend a toddler sling? Have other children to care for so could do with some free arms now and again. Thank you

I really liked the toddler Tula which has a nice solid waistband for support. If you want something a bit smaller and lightweight the Integra is good

My 18 month old is constantly up and down and I use the Senarah sling, would really recommend. (or anything similar, I got mine at the charity shop and don't know that any brands are particularly superior)
I just wear it all day when looking after my toddler so it's always ready and I'm not searching for where I left it.
He can sit in it by himself kind of over my hip so one arm goes around the back of him to hold him if necessary but I find unless I'm really moving around a lot, he can support himself and I can still use both hands most of the time.
I wouldn't use this for a long walk though personally, I mainly use it in the house or for short walks, otherwise I use a 'normal' carrier like the ergobaby 360, which can be front or back. My toddler much prefers this to the little life style ones.

Anything that isn’t a stretchy newborn sling will fit a toddler. It will take a bit of a learning curve putting it on, but I’d go for a woven wrap. It is a knack to use, but it’s the most comfortable for around the house. I last wore my dd in it at 4! So you can get a few good years of use out of it.

Thanks so much, I went for the Ergobaby 360 in the end, got a great deal on Vinted, appreciate all the replies.
