Nearly six year old biting

There are no known SEN concerns and I deal with it very firmly; he’s immediately removed from the soft play or party or whatever it is and loses screen time for the rest of the day.

He does have a temper on him but this is mostly kept to verbal outbursts / furious face.

I can’t say the biting happens a lot, but it’s happened a few times lately. I have to admit I’m at a complete loss and am very worried.

It isn’t that unusual tbh for 5yr olds to bite other children. They do usually grow out of it. It is borne out of frustration in most cases, when they are better able to articulate their feelings, it stops. Either that or they bite someone who retaliates and they decide they don't want that to happen again.
