Football parents / how do you feel about heading the ball

My son is 15 and has played league football since preschool.

now they basically play like adults, and many including my son are fairly good players. But I’ve noticed in the last year how
much more he is heading the ball during matches. I’m researching an article on this as some evidence suggests that heading, concussion and football related head injuries increase the risk of dementia.

so I’m wondering if other parents worry about this aspect of football? Boys don’t want to know obviously x

Hard no. We live in Wales, rugby is life, but my boy is not allowed to play. Long term head injury fall out is too much.
