How much food/formula 7 month old

DS is 7 months old today and I've been weaning him for about 3.5 weeks. Up until yesterday I was offering solids once a day, now I'm moving up to twice a day. I'm just wondering how much formula a 7 month old should be having once weaning and how to fit in 2 meals, bottles and 3 naps! He hasn't dropped to 2 naps yet.

At the moment he's having about 28 ounce of formula a day although he's started having a bottle at around 10pm again which he hasn't done for ages (think this could be teething related). He generally has about 5 bottles a day sometimes 6 with one feed overnight. Do I start to swap a bottle for a meal rather than offer food after bottle yet? I know that milk is supposed to be the main source of nutrition until 1 but I'm finding differing information about dropping formula etc

For now I’d just carry on as you are. The guidelines are to start offering food 3 times a day between 8 and 9 months, taking baby’s lead. I’d drop a bottle then.
