Do we take gifts?!

My DD is 5 next week and we’re going to Disneyland Paris Monday to Friday. I’m taking a banner and cards but do I take gifts with me?! I was going to leave them behind and she can have them when we get home but now I’m wondering if she’ll be expecting gifts?! Should I take one or two? Or leave them?

WWYD?

I think she’ll probably be more into you taking gifts rather than cards!

Personally, I probably wouldn’t take gifts. We’d have a little party at home before we went. I guess maybe if you are driving and you have plenty of space, you could throw them in the boot. But I would take some decorations for the room, balloons and I’d do something special on the day to celebrate. I wouldn’t necessarily lug presents there, but I would prepare her for that, that we’ll open presents at home.

I would take something for her to open on the day yes, but not all of them

Or allow her to choose a present on the day that will then have memories of the holiday

exactly
forget the cards. Definitely bring gifts
and I’d give her some
money to pick something out in the gift shops

Yes, don’t bother with banner and cards. Do take presents. If you’re not going to do presents there make sure she knows exactly what to expect so she’s not disappointed and I would vote doing an early celebration at home with presents, rather than after you get back
