I took my kids out today and they have relentlessly argued ALL day long! Is this normal? 12 and 9 when does it stop? Feels like It was only my kids arguing all day i mean it was constant. When does it get better!?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

God mine are 3 and 4 and was hoping it would be a lot sooner than this. RIP my sanity 😭

No not normal. All siblings argue but not all day every day. They are old enough to know to stop when you say stop - or there will be consequences. I would have taken them home and put them in separate rooms for a good long time so they get the message - that behaviour is unacceptable!

Couldnt go home as it was an event for my other child so that would be punishing him too. It’s not all day every day but it is most days, today was particularly bad for it they just wouldn’t stop winding each other up.

Yes mine are awful. 10 and 7. They’ve gotten worse than age, this year has been the worst ever so far. Mine are ND so I’m sure that plays a part, but it’s awful. We do a lot separately, too. They’re better together for one parent as well.

Thanks, nice to know it’s not just mine then, was starting to think it was. My 12 year old is actually under assessment for ASD. I had hoped they’d grow up to just tolerate each other but like you say I feel it’s getting worse with age!
