Anyone feel like same?
I’ve always been pretty happy during my PP, I’ve got a 5 year old and found it so much easier this time round my little one is such a happy baby just slots in to life my eldest is so helpful and such a good sister don’t get me wrong there has been tough times.
But I started back at work 2 weeks ago (3 days a week) and today I’ve hit a wall I’ve cried so much anything and everything is making me cry I feel like my head is going to explode and there’s so much to do with such little time, my little one is so clingy and since starting nursery that she’s no longer that happy all the time baby.I had a melt down today when my in laws were round and they helped straighten the house up put my clothes away washed pots etc, but I still feel this heaviness weighing me down. I’ve felt it building the past week just stuff getting on top of me not concentrating on what people are telling me because my heads thinking of other stuff I’m so mentally drained.
Advice please x

Oh love, it's normal, totally normal. Your brain won't function the same for a while. It DOES get easier, I've been back at work 4 days a week for 10 months and it's definitely easier than at the beginning. Also, the beginning of nursery is SHIT, that too will get easier.

Baby is still settling into childcare. Hold on and your happy baby will settle and come back xx

I don’t know whether this will help you or make you feel better but my youngest is 4 and I still struggle sometimes.
I work full time, both kids are at school, I get help from grandparents and I am still thoroughly overwhelmed at points.
It’s so common and it’s not bad all the time.
I’ve just accepted that this is the season I am currently in, it will get better and the kids are happy so I must be doing something right.
Everyone will adjust, it’s still a very new change.
If you need to cry then just cry. I’ve found trying to carry on and letting it build up makes it feel so much worse.
