High fever after toddler flu spray, have others found this year worse?

Our 3 year old got his flu spray 2 days ago. He did have a cold this week but nurse said fine to go ahead due to no fever. He got a really high fever last night and seemed more rough than he was last year with it. How have other kids been? Wonder if it’s a more intense vaccine this year? He’s brightened up as the day has gone on and I am SO grateful this is a flu vax and not the real thing!

My toddler is currently too ill with a 38.9C fever to have their nasal spray :( And now the nurse says they aren't doing any more toddler flu vaccines till half term!

My 3yo didn’t get a temperature, but has had a horrendously runny nose to the point where it’s raw, and has been out of sorts for the last week and a half since he had it. More quiet/clingy and not eating much. Hoping they get over it soon!

Hope your little one feels better soon. Why are they not doing any more until half term?

Nothing here following spray. But both kids had colds leading up to the vaccine. It's just that time of year

Definitely. If I held off for the cold I’d be holding off all winter as it’s our child’s first nursey year
