I'm finding my daughter starting reception super hard

Hi everyone. Please be kind, I'm a SAHM mum to a 15 month old and a 4 year old who has started reception, shes actually doing well, considering she didnt have any of her nursery friends start with her either.
Me, on the other hand, is finding it all so hard. At first it was the fact that I missed her, now its more feeling like school itself is a prison. When I drop her there or pick her up I feel so vulnerable. I absolutely hated secondary school and was very lonely in primary school, no friends and family life wasnt great. I feel like im projecting these feelings onto this situation although I dont show my daughter how I feel.
It doesn't help that her reception teacher is super passive aggressive towards the parents, barely even says hello at the door or acknowledges us, very straight faced and ive heard how she talks to some of the adults in the school and she seems quite rude.
My daughter likes her so thats all that should matter really.

I'm finding it quite hard to be SAHM for the 5th year, I want to work but cant find anytbing to work around the hours. My youngest is teething a lot and wakes multiple times screaming at me. I just feel a bit....crap.

Thanks for reading. Just looking for reassurance or some stories of similar circumstances

I found it hard when my DS started school last September. The school had seemed lovely when we were prospective parents but much more remote when DS was actually there. To be fair I would say communication isn’t their strong point! I felt like I dropped him at the gate and got nothing in return - I don’t expect a break down of him eating his dinner or anything but the lack of communication was an issue.

It’s fine though; he is now in Y1 and doing well. And that’s the important thing.
