Book recommendations for 6yo DS

Looking for books for 6yo DS. He is enjoying his encyclopaedias at the moment but has gone off stories and all our books suddenly feel too babyish.

They could be books to read himself or for me to read to him. His reading is pretty good. Looking for something with a few chapters maybe.

I have seen Bunny vs Monkey but don’t know if it’s suitable yet? Any other recommendations?

I'd recommend the adventuremice series - otter chaos is the first. They are short chapters but still have some illustrations and my son enjoyed them!
