You could ring 111 for advice if worried or GP once open. Hope she’s better soon.

How old is she? I’d keep medicines consistent as I’m assuming paracetamol and that needs consistent use to be most effective.

Poor thing, that sounds really painful and scary for both of you. Some pain as the pain relief wears off can happen with a fresh fracture, but if she’s needing regular pain relief or the pain seems severe, I’d call the fracture clinic or NHS 111 for advice about whether she needs to be reviewed.

I would expect the xrays to be reviewed by the orthopaedic team who would send an appointment for the fracture clinic and decide how to manage it. You may need to overlap paracetamol and ibuprofen so pain relief does not totally wear off.

Thanks everyone I have been using pain relief every two hours it’s just when she’s waking at night she’s screaming she’s sore because it’s worn off .
of she’s the same tonight I will just call 111 called gp this morning usual no appointments left !

I feel for your little one. I broke my arm recently, and weirdly, the night was the worst time. What worked for me was something very soft under the broken arm. One of my lounge cushions had a velvet back, so I would lay my arm on that. I had to remove the sling at night to sleep.
