Birthday Party Ideas

Hi. Im looking for ideas for a birthday party in December for a 7 year old boy, north east based. Something different to soft play but something younger kids could join in with too.

I always found a traditional birthday party extremely well received.

Hire a hall, do a load of party games, provide sandwiches and party food. Send them home with party bags.

Very straightforward, usually reasonably priced and all the kids love it.

What options are around you? Where we are, it’s soft play, village hall or home. I think home is tricky at that age in December because you can’t depend on the weather to be outside. You may have things like a trampoline park or a climbing centre near you. This is probably the last year you could get away with a hall with bouncy castle and traditional games so I’d consider that.
