Im a full time lone parent, are rushing around all week when the weekends come I literally have no energy or motivation to take the kids anywhere. I try to do at least one day out on the weekends but even finding the energy to do that is extremely hard. Does anyone else thats a lone parent feel this way, is it normal?

I’m not a lone parent and my DC are older but I do have sympathy. When mine were younger DH was often at work on Saturday till quite late and by the afternoon I’d often take them to my DPs, just to take the pressure off a bit.

Sorry you’re struggling Flowers

Completely normal with lone parenting - I think you're doing great with one trip out on a weekend! There's so much on your shoulders and you must be exhausted. Having to keep on top of all chores and house hold bits too! X

Fellow lone parent and agree it’s draining. We’re carrying the mental load as well as the physical one.
Very normal in my experience.
