Recommendations for durable dummies for an 18-month-old who bites them

Hey all.

My 18 month old has started to bite their dummy and I've had to throw out four new dummies this week 😥

Would anyone have any recommendations for dummies? We are working towards getting rid of the dummy but it's taking time. Worried about parts of the dummies coming off and bacteria

This is your sign to get rid of the dummies. They're too old to be using them and they'll ruin their teeth and speech development.

Could you get a chew/ bite toy to meet that need and a dummy just for sleep? I think mam do an 18m+ one so that may be more hard wearing.

Other than that maybe research it on google as you aren’t the first with this issue I’m sure.

Definitely take them away now before they end up swallowing a bit. My dentist said she can tell which kids used them for too long.

I was going to say the same things get rid of them all!

This is the perfect time to give them up - “oh no all broken no more dummies !! “

Honestly you will have two or three tough days and the need for the dummy will be gone.

just go cold turkey. Will be rough but just get it over with
