I've just completed my tax return got 25/26 and realise I've made an error with my adjusted net income so it is actually £10,000 over £100,000 and I shouldn't have claimed funded childcare hours. Has anyone else been in this position? What happened?

When did it get over the 100,000? Is it commission/bonuses? When did you most recently confirm on the gov website that you would not earn this?

We got a call in August when we tried to renew the 30 hours asking us to verbally confirm my partner would not earn over 100k as he was close to the threshold so I'm surprised you didn't have to do this before?

Call HMRC and tell them you’ve made a mistake. You’ll likely have to it back via a change to your tax code in April.
