I have autistic ds10 he is in a mainstream year 6.
He has a friend in year 5 who he gets on well with outside of school, mainly playing games online together they don't meet up outside of school.
However in school, this friend has been getting angry my son wants to play with his year six mates and not him and basically hitting my son till he agrees to play with him instead of the others. 🙄
My son told the teacher before but the friend called him a snitch and it just made the hitting worse.
Ds10 came home and had a really bad meltdown saying he doesn't feel safe with this lad at school, but he's fine playing with him at home as he can't hit him.
Obviously I will let school know in the morning but wondering if I should stop them playing together outside of school as well even though they get on!

Obviously they're not getting on if your son is getting hit 🙄

I thought it was a given that we don't play with children who hit us.

The obvious answer is that he doesn’t play with him online either.
