My little one taking a bottle still prior to bed. Just at 2.5, when did ye end that routine? Something we need to get going on soon I guess.

12 months with DC1 and 11 months with DC2. Neither ever had a particularly strong sleep association with it though so it was easy to stop.

6ish for the evening bottle.

its ok if you’re brushing teeth after. If not you need to do that, going to sleep with milk on his teeth is bad dentally at that age

12 or 13 months for the actual bottle, 18 months for milk before bed. DC just stopped asking for milk.

Mine had milk before bed in a cup til 3-5 years. The one who was bottle fed, the bottles went at about 14 months and replaced with a cup. Children ideally still need milk for the dairy, so if they don’t have much dairy during the day, a cup of milk (not a bottle) is fine. Just brush teeth after. If it’s part of your bedtime routine, you just need to move things around so that you aren’t just sending them to bed with a bottle.

Was not long after she turned 1 we stopped bottles but she does still have a a cup of milk before bed at just over 2

12mo, never had the milk to sleep association as once teeth appeared we started brushing before bed so wasn't looking for it at that stage.
