Anyone else feeling emotional about their child starting reception?

My daughter starts reception tomorrow and I feel so emotional. Hoping she will settle in ok, make friends and be ok to a new routine of 5 days a week. She only did nursery twice a week.

I’ve got used to us having our mummy and daughter day every week on my day off and it’s going to feel awful not having her with me and going doing things together :(

I can’t believe she’s growing up so quickly, felt like she was only starting nursery not long ago, but I know it’s a me problem. Anyone else?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Aww! Before you know it you’ll be like me, child starting year 6 and applying for secondary school places 🙈

it is a great thing for them though! Nursery prepares them more so than children who haven’t been in childcare, you’re happy at all the stuff they learn, hearing them become readers, school trips, their friendship groups and all the parties they get invited to
