Sorry I wasn't sure where to post this but hope someone can give me some advice.
I might be being a bit emotional and sensitive but here it is...
My youngest DS (5) has come home today after school upset that he has been excluded by children in his class since going back to school, including the ones he got on well with last year.
He has some additional needs and struggles with speech but had been doing well towards the end of last school year and was happy. Now, because his classmates are excluding him he does not want to go.
My eldest DS has kept him company at playtime after finding him alone on a bench really upset.
Im going to ring the school to keep an eye out, as he will easily regress and withdraw into himself.
But I guess my question is, am I being a bit premature with going to the school. Or do we wait and see if things pick up next week?
Its broke my heart seeing him so upset and then thinking of him being left alone.
TIA
