I agree that it’s Year 3/4. DS is just starting Year 3 and they haven’t been ‘taught’ some of the those timetables yet but will do so this year.

Well to be honest, it's not that easy. I can do some of them but sums were never my strong point.
Although I am hoping for a peerage in the mear futures, so perhaps not everything has to add up! 😂

My daughter was doing it in year 2 and struggling to get them all done correctly and in the three minutes so good to know most would think it’s aimed at older children

What I’m actually more curious about isn’t what year group a child should be in to do these questions — it’s how quickly the adults here can do all 20 of them accurately, without hesitation.
I just timed myself and it took me about 30 seconds to finish all 20.
I’d be genuinely interested to know how long other parents here take.
To me, that’s probably a more interesting comparison than simply asking what age a child “should” know them by, because understanding how to get the answer and being able to retrieve it instantly are quite different things.

I'd guess year 3. They do the multiplication check in year 4 which is only 6 seconds per question (I think?!) so this looks like slightly simpler/easier than that. DD would have struggled with this in year 2 but been fine with it in year 3. She's in a 3/4 mix class so was practicing the multiplication check last year in year 3. She had me try it and I only got 23/25 the first time, I wasn't prepared for the 11's and 12's. 😬🤦‍♀️
