Favourite brands for kids coats after the pre school years?

I have mostly had Jojo Maman Bebe outerwear for DD as they seem to be a good combination of cute designs while still being functional for winter and remain in good enough condition to buy secondhand. She’s outgrowing their sizes now and I’m looking for recommendations if good brands of coat to look out for on Vinted.

Joules and Frugi seem very popular round here

Ours are all in 3 in 1 Mountain Warehouse waterproof coats. They are well made and versatile.

Sensible colours (ie bright), warm, and generally passed between my 2 sons, usually covering 3 winters before going to charity.

Decathlon: cheap, reliable and practical

Depends if you mean a school coat or not. School coat - most supermarkets are perfectly fine.

I like frugi, they've lasted well and come in nice colours.

Joules, frugi, Boden here , DS is 7 now and won't wear most frugi stuff now, just put his last frugi rain coat on vinted.
FWIW Vinted is really good for all of those brands

Do kids normally need a separate coat for school? It is not mentioned in the information we have been given about school uniform. DD is starting reception no direct experience.
