30 hours funding confusion

Hi, wondering if anyone could give some guidance on childcare funding.

My little one starts nursery on 5th October, she will be 9 months on September 13th and I return to work 2nd September? I have a funding code, am I entitled to 30 hours from when she starts in October or will I have to wait until Jan 2027?

You cant used the funding until January. It runs in blocks of school terms only.

From January I'm afraid, the term after she turns 9 months. Nursery can't claim before she is 9 months to be in time for the autumn term funding. Their next claim period is the Spring term from January. Hope that makes sense.
